The Fachhochschule Vorarlberg is situated in the highly industrialized four-country region of Austria, Germany, Liechtenstein, and Switzerland in Austrias western-most state Vorarlberg (pop. 350,000) and in Vorarlbergs largest town and economic centre Dornbirn (pop. 44,000), which plays host to various international congresses and is home to the famous Dornbirn Trade Fair. How to Get to Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences
By train and town bus
Go to the bus terminal opposite Dornbirn train station and take the number 2 red bus ("Brehmenmahd") or the number 3 red bus ("In Fängen") and ride the bus to the stop "Fachhochschule". Alternatively you can take the number 50 yellow bus (Lustenau-Gaissau) or the number 22 yellow bus (Götzis) and ride the bus to the stop Sägerbrücke. Travel time: approx. 10 minutes. By car
Take the motorway exit "Dornbirn-Süd", drive in the direction of the city centre (Zentrum), at the fifth set of lights (on your left, you will see the city hospital) take a left. You will go through two sets of lights. At the second set of lights, just after you have crossed the bridge, turn right and follow the sign Fachhochschule. By plane
